The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 2011 Women's Soccer All-America teams on Monday. Three teams are selected and composed of 13 players, which were selected by the All-America committee.
Grand View junior forward Jordyn Thompson (Newton, Iowa) was selected to the NAIA All-American Honorable Mention Team. The MCC Player of the Year and First Team selection was among leaders in seven national statistical categories - game winning goals (4th-7), game winning goals per game (5th-.35), goals per game (7th-1.2), total goals (7th-24), points per game (9th-2.7), total points (54-10th), and hots per game (29th-4.6).
The Viking women were 14-6 in 2011 and won the program's third MCC regular season title.
