        <description>&lt;div&gt;KANSAS CITY, MO. - The awards for the Iowa Wesleyan College women's basketball team continue to come in as junior &lt;B&gt;Jessi Beachey&lt;/B&gt; (&lt;I&gt;Fisher, Ill.&lt;/I&gt;) was named a First Team NAIA Division II All-American on Tuesday.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Beachey is the first IWC player to get first team All-American honors since Linda Froman in 1989. She is Iowa Wesleyan's 20th different All-American in school history, seventh since the school was competing exclusively against four-year colleges, and she is the fourth different player to receive national honors under Head Coach Steve Williamson.&lt;/div&gt;</description>

        <description>&lt;div&gt;The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2010 Division II Women's Basketball All-America teams. Players are selected by the All-America committee. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Grand View freshman guard Jennifer Jorgensen (Dayton, Iowa) was voted to the NAIA All-American Third Team. Jorgensen, a First Team All-MCC selection, led the Vikings this season in scoring (17.1 ppg) and rebounding (8.3 rpg). She finished the year ranked in eight national statistical categories, notably total scoring (12&lt;SUP&gt;th&lt;/SUP&gt; - 562), defensive rebounds per game (13&lt;SUP&gt;th&lt;/SUP&gt; - 6.39 rpg), field goal percentage (14&lt;SUP&gt;th&lt;/SUP&gt; - 51.9%) and total rebounds (24&lt;SUP&gt;th&lt;/SUP&gt; - 275).&lt;/div&gt;</description>

        <description>&lt;div&gt;The awards continue to flow in for the Grand View University women's basketball program. At the conclusion of the NAIA National Championships, freshman Jennifer Jorgensen (Dayton, Iowa) was selected to the All-Tournament Second Team. Jorgensen averaged 21 points and eight rebounds in three games throughout the tourney and helped lead the Vikings to the program's first Elite 8 appearance.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Grand View bowed out of the tourney in the quarterfinal round to Shawnee State who went on to contend for the national title. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Vikings finished its season at 27-9, one of the winningest in program history.&lt;/div&gt;</description>

        <description>&lt;div&gt;The Midwest Collegiate Conference continues to shine at the NAIA Division II National Championships in Sioux City, as both Iowa Wesleyan and Grand View advanced to the final eight with Sweet 16 wins on Friday.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Both the Tigers and Vikings scored impressive victories by defeating higher seeded teams on Friday to move to the Elite 8 of the tourney. IWC, a #3 seed in the tourney, defeated #2 seed Jamestown (N.D.) 72-60 in the morning. Fourth-seeded Grand View then followed in the next game with a huge 69-61 win over Hastings (Neb.), a #1 seed and the team ranked #1 in the country at the end of the regular season. It is the first time the MCC has&amp;nbsp;had two teams in the final eight of the tourney.&lt;/div&gt;</description>

        <title>[Men's Soccer] Jon Mannall Named Head Soccer Coach at St. Ambrose</title>

        <description>St. Ambrose University announced today that Jon Mannall has been named the University's head soccer coach. Mannall has coached the SAU women's soccer team for the last eight seasons and will now also add the men's coaching duties.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&quot;We are excited to have the school's first full-time soccer coach dedicated entirely to soccer with no other outside duties,&quot; said SAU Director of Athletics Ray Shovlain. &quot;We think Jon will do an outstanding job with our soccer program.&quot;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Mannall has turned the Queen Bees into a nationally-recognized program over his time at the helm. He has been named the Midwest Collegiate Conference Coach of the Year the last three seasons as his teams have claimed three straight regular season conference crowns.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;His 2008 team made the program's first-ever appearance in the NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship and his 2009 squad finished 18-2-1 overall, setting a program record for wins in a season, and 7-0-1 in the MCC.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;</description>
