The awards continue to flow in for the Grand View University women's basketball program. At the conclusion of the NAIA National Championships, freshman Jennifer Jorgensen (Dayton, Iowa) was selected to the All-Tournament Second Team. Jorgensen averaged 21 points and eight rebounds in three games throughout the tourney and helped lead the Vikings to the program's first Elite 8 appearance.

Grand View bowed out of the tourney in the quarterfinal round to Shawnee State who went on to contend for the national title.

The Vikings finished its season at 27-9, one of the winningest in program history.
