The Midwest Collegiate Conference has announced its weekly honors. Receiving honors were: Scott Buschman (Men's Basketball - Viterbo), Rachel Hannam (Women's Basketball - Waldorf), Sheray Brown (Women's Basketball - Iowa Wesleyan), Xavier Shields (Men's Indoor Track - Iowa Wesleyan), Tyler Wells (Men's Indoor Field - Grand View), Jessica Nessan (Women's Indoor Track - Clarke) and Kelsey Hansen (Women's Indoor Field - Mount Mercy).

Men's Basketball
Scott Buschman - Viterbo (Sr., Forward, Naperville, Ill.)
Buschman averaged 27.5 points and 11 rebounds last week in a pair of Viterbo wins. He shot 55.9% from the field for the week, and had a season-high 31 points in a win over Mount Mercy.

Women's Basketball
Rachel Hannam - Waldorf (Sr., Forward, St. Ansgar, Iowa)
Sheray Brown - Iowa Wesleyan (Jr., Forward, Detroit, Mich.)
Hannam averaged 21 points and 15 rebounds last week and shot 51.7% from the field and 91.7% from the free throw line as the Warriors split two games last week. Brown averaged 14 points, 13 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.5 steals as the Tigers defeated St. Ambrose and Mount Mercy. She shot 78.6% from the field and was 3-for-4 from behind the three-point line.

Men's Indoor Track
Xavier Shields - Iowa Wesleyan (Fr. from St. Albans, N.Y.)
Shields won the 55-meter dash and hit the NAIA national ‘B' qualifying standard by running a time of 6.52 seconds at the Cornell College Hilltop Invitational.

Men's Indoor Field
Tyler Wells - Grand View (Soph. from Des Moines, Iowa)
Wells finished third in the shot put and weight throw at the Cornell Hilltop Invite, hitting the NAIA ‘B' standard in both events. He posted a best of 15.18 meters in the shot put and 15.92m in the weight throw.

Women's Indoor Track
Jessica Nessan - Clarke (Jr. from Dubuque, Iowa)
Nessan won the triple jump at the Cornell Hilltop Invite with a top mark of 10.52 meters. She also lowered her NAIA ‘B' standard qualifying time in the 55 hurdles, finishing second with a time of 8.67 seconds.

Women's Indoor Field

Kelsey Hansen - Mount Mercy (Jr. from Alton, Iowa)
Hansen blew away her school record and met the NAIA ‘A' standard in the weight throw, winning the event at the Hilltop Invitational with a top throw of 15.42 meters.
