Des Moines, Iowa - St. Ambrose University claimed its third straight league crown at the 2008 Midwest Collegiate Conference Men's Cross Country Championships on Saturday at Ewing Park.

Viterbo's B.J. McCall earned Men's Harrier of the Year honors for his first conference championship with a time of 27:29 in the 8k. Also landing on the All-Conference team were John Darmody of St. Ambrose (2nd/27:41), Mike Miroux of Mount Mercy (3rd/27:52), Brandon Bond of Grand View (4th/28:09), Blake Wallace of William Penn (5th/28:20), Jon Aldrich of Grand View (6th/28:26), and Jordan Letzring of William Penn (7th/28:43).


The Fighting Bees took first place with 43 points. Mount Mercy was runner-up with 58, Grand View was third with 70, and Viterbo fourth with 100. Complete Results.
