The NAIA Region VII Baseball Tournament Bracket has been released. Three teams will represent the Midwest Collegiate Conference at the Region VII Tournament hosted by the University of St. Francis May 6-9 in Joliet, Ill. The remaining three teams were selected from the Chicagoland Conference.

The six-team, double-elimination tournament will be held at Silver Cross Field with the exception of Game 4 that will be played at Gillespie Field.

The winner of the tournament will then face off with the winner of the Region VIII Tournament in the Heartland Super Regional (best two-out-of-three) at the home site of the Region VII champion.

Top overall seed and #13 nationally-ranked St. Francis (Ill.) (41-9) meets #6 seed Iowa Wesleyan (19-25) in the first game of the tournament Tuesday at 11 a.m. The winner of that matchup meets the loser of the William Penn/Saint Xavier contest Wednesday at 10 a.m.

William Penn (26-13) enters as the #4 seed and will play #3 seed Saint Xavier (Ill.) (33-18) Tuesday at 7 p.m. The winner faces the winner of the #2 seed St. Ambrose (31-10) vs. #5 seed Judson (Ill.) (18-23) game Wednesday at 2 p.m. St. Ambrose and Judson face off at 3 p.m. on Tuesday.
