Oskaloosa--When Penn faced off with Grand View Tuesday, October 16, the Statesmen and Lady Statesmen soccer teams both donned pink uniforms and sold pink ribbons to show support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

"We wanted to show that we cared and this was a great way to do it," Penn men’s soccer coach Kevin Rushing said. "Everyone got behind it and had a lot of fun with it. Some of the guys even dyed their hair pink to really show their support. It was a pretty special event."

The pink ribbons were sold throughout the soccer doubleheader for $1 each.
