Miriam Chisala (Des Moines, Ia./Des Moines Roosevelt HS) qualified for the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in two events at the Neil Moore Classic hosted by Dana College on Saturday, March 31st. Chisala ran a NAIA Automatic qualifying time of 12.16 seconds in the 100m Dash and then came back to run a NAIA Provisional qualifying time of 25.45 seconds in the 200m Dash. She will compete in both sprinting events at the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships on May 24th-26th in Fresno, CA.

For her efforts, Chisala was named Midwest Classic Conference Women's Track Athlete of the Week.
